I have used Citrus and Sage anti fungal foot treatment in the clinical setting and found it to be very effective in reducing Onychomycosis in many patients who presented with nail fungus.The dominant active ingredient is tea tree oil which has been proven to have antimicrobial, antifungal and anti inflammatory properties (Low, Kenward, Britland, Amin & Martin, 2016).
The solution is easy to apply, however filing the nail back prior to application achieved results faster. I recommend that patients use the topical spray twice a day. It is to be used sparingly. It was sprayed on to the nails then massaged into the nail plate with gloved hands.
My patients appreciated this product as a natural alternative to expensive pharmaceutical brands. Results were generally noticeable as early as 6 weeks. I will continue to recommend this product first over other topical anti fungal treatments. Apart from its efficacy, it smells divine and can be used as a preventative measure for every client who attends the clinic for general treatment to leave their feet feeling fresh and rejuvenated!
